'08 Mercedes-Benz M-Class

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is all about brand new standard features. Buyers can still have their choice of a diesel engine and an AMG V8; now, however, there is also an anniversary edition.

The ML350 comes complete with a 3.5 liter V-6 with two hundred sixty eight horsepower and two hundred and fifty eight pounds per feet of torque. The ML550 has a V8 engine with three hundred and eighty two horsepower and three hundred and ninety one pounds of feet per torque. The ML63 AMG has a 6.3 liter V8 with five hundred and three horsepower and four hundred and sixty five pounds per feet of torque.

Finally, the ML320 diesel comes complete with two hundred and fifteen horsepower and nearly four hundred pounds per feet of torque. Each engine is mated with a seven speed automatic transmission and TouchShift manual controls situated behind the steering wheel.

Standard safety features for the 2008 Mercedes-Benz M-Class include side curtain air bags, rollover sensors, side impact air bags, an electronic stability system, and anti lock brakes featuring Brake Assist.
